    • Our mobile sauna is a wood-fired sauna built on a trailer, allowing us to bring the experience to different locations around Whidbey Island. Ours is heated by an IKI wood stove, creating a deep, steady heat and rich steam. This mobility lets us host relaxed, social sauna sessions in nature while keeping the feel of a traditional sauna.

  • Currently, we are operating our mobile sauna at the Trustland Trails in South Whidbey. We will be announcing more sites soon!

  • Book a session online through our site, bring two towels, one to sit on and one to dry off, and wear swimwear or comfy gym clothes. We’ll have the wood stove fired up and ready to go.

    Before your session be sure to stay hydrated for your sauna session.

    During your session, you’re free to move at your own pace: warm up, step outside to cool down, and repeat. These are social sauna sessions set in nature, designed to feel relaxed, welcoming, and unhurried.

  • We have a convenient communal changing room connected to our mobile sauna for you to shed your outer layers and keep personal belongings.

  • Our sauna ranges from 140 to 180 F.

  • Bring your swimsuit or gym clothes, a towel to sit on and one to dry off, and a water bottle to stay hydrated.

    • Come clean: A quick shower before you arrive helps keep the sauna fresh for everyone.

    • Bring a towel to sit on: It protects the benches (and your bum).

    • Bring a second towel: One to dry off after your session.

    • What to wear: Swimwear or comfy gym clothes are perfect.

    • Pace yourself: Most people enjoy 10–15 minutes at a time. Step out, cool down, and listen to your body.

    • Be mindful of the stove: The wood stove is hot. Please ask before adding water and move carefully around it.

    • Leave extra belongings outside: Heat can affect sensitive items like jewelry, glasses, phones, cameras, watches, etc.

    • Be kind: It’s a shared space. Let’s keep it welcoming and relaxed!

  • We can comfortably seat 7 people during a social sauna session and up to 8 people for a private session if you don’t mind getting cozy!

  • Only 18+ years and older guests are allowed in our mobile sauna.

  • Yes! Gift cards can be purchased here!

  • Yes! Send us a direct message at hello@driftwoodsaunaco.com to coordinate a private rental.

  • Driftwood Sauna Co is a small family business operating with a limited resource, as such all sales at Driftwood Sauna Co are final. Cancellations are not permitted for any reason.

    Rescheduling:

    • Social Sauna Sessions: may be rescheduled up to 48 hours before your session.

    • Private Sauna Sessions: may be rescheduled up to 7 days (168 hours) before your session.

    Please use the link in your confirmation email to make changes to your reservation. We cannot make adjustments by phone or email.

    Reservations cannot be rescheduled within 48 hours (Public/Shorty) or 168 hours (Private) for any reason and will be charged in full.

    No-shows, same-day bookings, and next-day bookings will all be charged in full and cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.

    Late arrivals will not receive additional time or compensation.

  • Driftwood Sauna Co will only close in the event of extreme weather. If we close due to weather, guests will be notified by email and offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
